When you book a free doorstep clothing collection with Bag2Charity, you can include a small number of books alongside your bag of clothes.
We're set up to collect textiles including clothing, shoes, and accessories. Books can be added in small quantities as part of your existing collection, but we're not able to collect books on their own or in large volumes.

We will donate the proceeds to the charity of your choice.
We accept a small number of good condition fiction, non-fiction, children's books, and textbooks alongside your clothing donation. Books should be free from damage, water marks, or missing pages. We're not able to collect books on their own or in large volumes — if you have a large quantity to donate, a local library, school, or specialist book charity will be better placed to take them.
Once collected, your books are sorted and either resold to raise funds for your chosen charity or redistributed for reuse. Either way, your donation helps fund vital work for UK charities including Human Appeal, Children's Air Ambulance, Kidney Research Yorkshire, and more.
Our organisation partners with distinguished and highly regarded UK charities such as Human Appeal, The Funzi and Bodo Trust, Children's Air Ambulance, Your Local Air Ambulance, Kidney Research Yorkshire, Wendy's Wish, Fighting Ependymoma, Ragdolls UK and Special Needs Objective Outreach Project. By collecting second-hand clothes, we provide charities without a network of charity shops or the resources to process such donations, with an alternative means of raising funds. Furthermore, we offer a hassle-free and convenient option for individuals who wish to donate clothes, which is of great importance to our charity partners.
