About Fighting Ependymoma

Fighting Ependymoma was set up in memory of Chris Bramhall, who died of ependymoma brain and spinal tumours at the age of 21 after a 13-year battle with the disease. Ependymoma is the second most common brain tumour in children, and despite advances in imaging and surgery, outcomes for the condition haven't significantly improved in recent years. The charity's aim is to support world-class research into childhood ependymoma, working with leading experts through national and international brain tumour research organisations.

Since becoming a registered charity, Fighting Ependymoma has funded multiple research projects at The Children's Brain Tumour Research Centre in Nottingham, work that's helping doctors better understand and one day treat this difficult disease. Your donation helps continue this research.
