Introducing Our Newest Charity Partner
Bag2Charity is proud to announce a new partnership with SNOOP, the Special Needs Objective Outreach Project, a registered charity based in West Yorkshire. From April 2026, customers booking a free Bag2Charity collection can choose SNOOP as their chosen charity, with a contracted percentage of proceeds going directly to the organisation every month.
Who Are SNOOP?
SNOOP was established in 2000 by parents with lived experience of raising children with disabilities. That founding principle, services designed by people who truly understand the challenges families face, remains at the heart of everything the charity does today.
Based at a fully accessible, purpose built centre at Inspire Bradford Business Park in West Yorkshire, SNOOP is the only charity in the region providing support for children, young people, and adults with a whole range of disabilities and complex needs across such a wide age range, from two years old right through to 45. They accept every person for who and how they are.
SNOOP's vision is a society where people with learning disabilities and their parents and carers feel valued, supported, and enabled to have a good life with the same chances and opportunities as anyone else. That vision drives every service they provide.
What SNOOP Does
In 2025 alone, SNOOP delivered over 333,000 hours of individual care and support, remaining open 50 weeks a year so families always have a safe and trusted place to turn to.
Their services cover the full journey from early years through to adulthood. Tadpoles Pre-School supports children aged 2 to 4 through play-based, SEND-focused early years education led by experienced practitioners. After-school clubs and holiday playschemes serve children aged 3 to 16 with activities including sensory play, baking, nature walks, and themed sessions with access to a dedicated sensory room.
For young adults aged 19 to 45, SNOOP runs a five day a week service focused on strengths, aspirations, and positive risk-taking. Activities include cooking, gardening, music, woodwork, crafts, and ASDAN-accredited training, alongside community experiences participants might not otherwise access.
SNOOP also provides dedicated support for parents and carers through peer support sessions and practical help with day to day challenges. For many families, this support is every bit as important as the care their loved ones receive.
The Difference SNOOP Makes
The impact of SNOOP's work is best understood through the people it has helped. Chris was diagnosed with dyslexia and autism at an early age. His journey with SNOOP began at age five. With the charity's support he learned the social and life skills needed to cope with modern life, built his confidence, and developed employability skills that opened doors he might never have found otherwise. Chris is now a West Yorkshire Police Constable and describes himself as living the dream.
One parent described the difference SNOOP made to their son this way: "My son has become a totally different person, from being withdrawn and angry and relying on an adult. Now he is outgoing, able to express his feelings and independent. He would not be where he is today without the help of SNOOP."
Stories like these are why SNOOP exists. And why the funding they receive matters so much.
Why SNOOP Relies on Charity Partners Like Bag2Charity
Like many smaller charities, SNOOP relies on a combination of funding streams to keep its services running. The support it provides is specialist, ongoing, and irreplaceable for the families who depend on it. But specialist support costs money, and statutory funding rarely covers everything.
A consistent, reliable income from clothing donations helps SNOOP plan ahead, maintain its services, and reach more people who need them. Every bag donated through Bag2Charity and directed to SNOOP contributes directly to that stability.
