We have some exciting news. Bag2Charity is now collecting in London.

From Tuesday 21st July, our free charity clothes collection service will be live across parts of Southwest and Central London. If you've been looking for a simple, free way to donate your unwanted clothes and household items to a UK charity, we're now coming to your door.

Where We Collect in London

We're launching with two weekly collection days, each covering a different part of the city.

On Tuesdays we cover Southwest London, including Twickenham, Teddington, Hampton, Mortlake and East Sheen. Postcodes covered: TW1, TW2, TW11, TW12, SW13 and SW14.

On Thursdays we cover Central London, including Mayfair, Westminster, Knightsbridge, Chelsea, Kensington, Belgravia, the City of London and Covent Garden. Postcodes covered: W1, SW1, SW3, SW7, W8, EC2M, EC3A and WC2.

How It Works

Booking a collection with Bag2Charity takes less than two minutes. Here's what happens:

• Book online — enter your postcode, choose a date, and pick your charity
• Pack your bags — clothes, shoes, books, toys, kitchenware and more
• Leave them out — you don't need to be home, just leave bags outside on collection day
• We collect and the proceeds go directly to your chosen charity

Which Charities Can I Support?

When you book a collection in London, you choose which charity receives the proceeds. Our current London charity partners include Human Appeal, Fighting Ependymoma, Funzi and Bodo Trust, Kidney Research Yorkshire, Wendy's Wish, Ragdolls UK and SNOOP.

Every kilogram we collect goes towards funding the vital work these organisations do. You donate the items, we do the rest.

What Can I Donate?

We collect a wide range of items, not just clothing. As long as things are clean and in reasonable condition, we can take them:

• Adult, children's and baby clothing
• Shoes, handbags, belts and accessories
• Curtains, towels and bed linen (no duvets or pillows)
• Books, toys, soft toys and games
• Kitchenware, ornaments and bric-a-brac up to microwave size
